  6. A four-ton satellite was hurtling towards earth a few months ago - and
  7. experts didn't know where it would land.

  9. Space debris normally burns up as it descends, but the craft is so
  10. big it probably survived.

  12. It split in two and the odds were that both sections would crash into
  13. the Atlantic or Pacific.

  15. The largest piece, the size of a car, should land safely in the sea.

  17. The Chinese satellite, with a diamond-encrusted Chairman Mao medal on
  18. board, went out of control ten days after launch.

  21. newspaper. Rumours are that the satellite went out of control as it
  22. hit an Irish submarine. Ha-ha !!! Oh yes, and I'm not going to admit
